Merci Decker, Ph.D.
Merci Decker, Ph.D. is a communication consultant and a part-time Lecturer. Dr. Decker has over twenty years of experience teaching courses in communication studies including: argumentation, gender and communication, intercultural communication, strategic communication, organizational communication, and public speaking.
Decker holds a a Ph.D. from the University of Memphis, specializing in Rhetoric, Politics, and Society and a master’s degree in communication studies from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Most recent publications include a chapter in Education 3.0 and eLearning Across Modalities and a case study in Casing Organizational Communication.
When not working, you can find Merci outdoors, volunteering, enjoying the eclectic and artistic areas of Detroit, and at home with one adorable cat.
